1. Subject and scope
These provisions govern sales made through metinali.com and set out the rights and obligations of consumers and the seller for clothing and accessory sales under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts.
2. Mandatory pre-order information
Immediately before a payment obligation arises, the customer is clearly shown the product's essential characteristics, quantity and options, total price including taxes, delivery and any extra costs, payment method, delivery time, withdrawal rights, return carrier and dispute channels. The order button clearly states that the transaction creates a payment obligation.
3. Formation of the contract
The contract is formed after the customer reads and confirms the pre-contract information and expressly approves the order carrying a payment obligation. The order summary and a copy of the contract are sent to the customer's email or another accessible durable medium.
4. Price and payment
Prices on the order screen include taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery and other additional charges are shown separately before approval. No preselected extra service or fee is applied without express consent. At the initial sales stage, payment follows the bank transfer/EFT terms displayed at checkout; the order may remain “awaiting payment” until payment is confirmed.
5. Delivery
The seller delivers within the promised period and, in any event, the statutory maximum. The parties may agree a different period for personalised products. The seller bears responsibility for loss or damage caused by the carrier until delivery, except where the customer specifically chooses a carrier different from the seller's.
6. Withdrawal and returns
Subject to statutory exceptions, the consumer may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason or paying a penalty. Notice must be sent within that period by email or another legally accepted durable medium. Details are in the Cancellation, Withdrawal and Returns Policy.
7. Defective goods and statutory rights
If the product does not meet the contract or advertised characteristics, the consumer retains statutory remedies including free repair, replacement with a non-defective equivalent, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract. These rights are independent of the right of withdrawal.
8. Disputes
The consumer may apply to the consumer arbitration committee where they live or where the transaction took place. Disputes exceeding the financial thresholds for the relevant year may be brought before the consumer court, subject to mandatory mediation provisions.
9. Records and evidence
Order, pre-contract confirmation, contract, payment, delivery, withdrawal and return records are securely retained for the statutory retention periods.
