1. Services used on the site

The site runs on Cloudflare; product, stock, account and image data is stored with Supabase. Google is used for authentication when the user specifically starts Google sign-in. These services may also process their own security and privacy records.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text records stored in your browser. Some information may similarly be held in local storage. Essential technologies support site security, sessions, your bag and saved choices. Some basic functions may not work without them.

Essential technologies

• metinali_cookie_preferences: A first-party cookie for METİNALİ that remembers your cookie preferences for one year.
• metinali-cart-v1: A local storage record holding your bag items on your device. It may remain until you clear browser data or change your bag.
• metinali_language: A first-party cookie that remembers your language choice for one year.
• Supabase session storage: When you sign in, Supabase authentication data may be stored in your browser to maintain and renew the session.

Optional analytics

With analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures visited pages, product/category interactions, bag and order steps, browser/device information and engagement time while the page is in focus. Country, region and city are approximated from the IP address; precise location or GPS data is not collected. Google states that GA4 does not retain IP addresses after determining location.

The GA4 cookies _ga and _ga_* are first-party cookies distinguishing visitors and sessions with random identifiers. Their lifetime is one year on this site and may renew during use. Names, emails, phone numbers, delivery addresses and passwords are not sent to GA4. Analytics data is processed in Google services; details are in Google's privacy policy .

For orders created with analytics consent, random visitor/session identifiers and delivery status are linked to the order to measure payment confirmation. Technical records older than 90 days are removed as the measurement queue is processed. Payment confirmation and order creation are measured separately. Withdrawing analytics consent while signed in also stops unsent payment measurements. This does not automatically remove data already sent to Google.

Marketing and changing your preferences

Analytics and marketing are off by default. Google measurement code is not loaded without analytics consent. No advertising tag is currently active in the marketing category. Change preferences anytime through the initial banner or “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent stops subsequent measurement and clears this site's GA4 cookies.

Google Customer Reviews

Order confirmation offers an optional Google Customer Reviews survey. Selecting ‘Allow sharing and open Google's survey option’ sends your email address, order number, delivery country and estimated delivery date to Google for the survey. In Google's window, you separately choose whether to receive a survey email after delivery. Declining does not affect your order.

This service is separate from general Google Analytics consent. If you do not open the survey option, Google's survey code is not loaded and these details are not sent to Google Customer Reviews. Google's module may use third-party cookies or similar technologies; you can manage them in your browser. Google processes data under its privacy policy. Turning off site analytics consent does not automatically delete data previously sent to Google.

Dismissing the survey option or opening Google's window is remembered for the current browser tab session using an order-specific preference. This record contains no email or address.

Rejecting cookies

“Reject all” turns off analytics and marketing; essential records remain for your bag, sign-in and saved preferences. Visits and interactions such as adding to the bag are not sent to Google Analytics with this choice. The rejection preference is stored separately for each brand.

3. Google sign-in

Google sign-in is optional. Basic information such as name, email, profile image and provider ID may be obtained from your chosen Google account for authentication. Your password is not seen or stored by METİNALİ . Cookies and data processing on Google's domain are governed by Google's policies.

4. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, separation of permissions, transaction logs and reasonable technical/administrative measures. No online transfer or storage method guarantees absolute security. If a breach is detected, statutory notification and remediation procedures are followed.

5. Third-party links

Links to Instagram, Google Maps or other sites are subject to each third party's terms and policies. Linking does not endorse all of that third party's practices.

6. Preferences and contact

You may delete or block non-essential storage in your browser. Blocking essential technologies may disrupt session, bag or security functions. Use the contact channel above for privacy questions and KVKK requests.
